Manufacturing
With manufacturing producing about 21.7% of 2024 metro GDP, by far the largest private share, many of the region's implementations start on a plant or distribution floor. The first design questions are how to represent retail and distributor accounts, how configured products and price books will be maintained, and where after-sale service records live. We usually launch account management and quoting together, since reps judge the system by how fast they can price a deal, and add service or field work later.
Healthcare & Life Sciences
Healthcare and life sciences is one of Greater Winston-Salem, Inc.'s five target sectors, and Innovation Quarter's 330-plus downtown acres link clinical care, research and startups. Implementations for these organizations have to separate patients, research participants, donors and commercial partners, each with its own consent rules. We design those record types and sharing boundaries first, then launch the process carrying the most manual effort today, often referral intake or study recruitment.
Headquarters & Business Services
Headquarters and business services is another of Greater Winston-Salem, Inc.'s target sectors, covering corporate offices, shared-service centers and data and analytics firms. When these organizations implement Salesforce, the challenge is usually breadth across business units rather than depth in one. We build a common core of accounts, contacts and security, let each unit layer its own processes on top in controlled phases, and set naming and design standards that keep the org coherent as more teams join.
